Girls love dirt!

What can I say? My little girl loves to get dirty. Of course this was right before we were going to leave so I had to give her a quick bath first. She didn't get too dirty but only because I stopped her before she could. Enjoy the pics!

Phoenix Children's Museum

I got jealous of Marc and Jacq having all the fun without me on Fridays. So I took a Friday off. We went to the children's museum in Phoenix. It was awesome! It is by far my favorite place to take Jacq in all the valley. It's big, clean, age appropriate and very hands on. Marc was worried and he thought it was going to be boring and we would just have to suffer through the few hours there. But he even liked the place and had a good time. We were joined by my friend Jill, her hubby Jimmy and their two daughters, Ella and Ryen. I have a lot of pics and can't wait to go back to get more!

Outdoor Fun

The weather was beautiful today. I think it was in the 80's. I got off work early so when Jacq and I got home we decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and get outside. She hasn't been feeling well so I didn't want to go for a walk or the to park. I decided to let her finger paint and she had a blast.

Jacq broke out on this weird rash on her arms, and parts of her legs and face. You can see it in some of these pics. I gave her some benadryl and it cleared up but boy did it look ugly!

When good art projects go bad

I wasn't feeling very crafty this weekend. I still wanted to do something constructive with Jacq so I thought sponge painting would be an easy, fun idea. Boy was I wrong. I'll let the pictures explain.

Here is my pallet. I took a big sponge and squirted a few colors on it. Then took a normal sponge so she could paint it and then dab it on the poster board. It started out well.







This is where it started to turn.





This was the point of no return.





She had a lot of fun though. It was straight to the bath after this activity. It's only tuesday and I already feel like it is thursday. By thursdays, I am DONE and can't wait for friday to be over. I don't know why I am so tired and have no energy. Don't worry, unfortunately I'm not pregnant. But it would make all the tiredness at least worth it. Oh well, maybe this time next year. Keep your fingers crossed!
